iPhone 6 Plus is undoubtedly one of the best phones of 2015. As with all Apple phones, it is full of innovative features. Just like the previous versions of Apple’s flagship phones, iPhone 6Plus was also highly anticipated and well received by critics. Even though it is a contender for the phone of the year, there are 5 reasons why you should not buy iPhone 6 Plus:
● Huge Size
The way smartphones are increasing the screen size, there now exists a very thin line between a phone and a tablet. Unfortunately, iPhone 6 Plus crosses this line and falls in the Phablet category.Apple always defended its stance of using smaller screen sizes as compared to Android smartphone manufacturers like Samsung and Sony, terming the small screen user friendly and easy to carry around. With iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, it went against its own stance. While iPhone 6 is still in the decentrange of screen size, the iPhone 6Plus is massive and not many people are a fan of carrying a phone which doesn’t even fit in their pockets.
● Price
Price is always a major factor why people don’t buy Apple products. If there is one criticism which Apple has to face as compared to rivals, it is that its phones are priced way too high. Of course, if you are buying it on contract, that makes sense. But if you have to buy it off contract, like most people in Asia, then it takes out a huge chunk from your pocket. You may get away with certain discounts and deals on online marketplaces like Kaymu and Shopping.lk, but more often than not, you will find yourself paying a lot for an iPhone. The wiser option is to wait for a certain time period and buy the phone when its price falls a little.
● The iPhone 5S is still a great phone
Only a year ago, people bought the critically appraised iPhone 5S. It was a phone loved by both critics and customers. Only a year has passed since its launch and it still is a great phone. Now with the launch of new iPhone models, you can get it for a bargain. iPhone 5S will also get the latest iOS software update OTA. This means that there is not a good enough reason to upgrade your phone so quickly as the iPhone 5S is still one of the best phones available in the market.

You cannot deny the impact Android phones have had on iPhone sales. Android phones come in many varieties and offer almost all the unique features of iPhones.The ability to customize, install third party apps and get the latest Android updates means that you have a great alternative for your iPhone. Android phones also offer the more value for money.
● iPhone 7 is the real deal!
As mentioned before, iPhone 6 Plus is not a major upgrade over the still relevant iPhone 5S. The wiser option is to wait for next year when iPhone 7 is launched with new shape, design and features. It definitely has more to offer. All the reasons pretty much sum up my view for not switching to iPhone 6 plus, let’s all wait for the next iPhone to come to explore and appreciate Apple more.
